From our kitchen to your table
It all started in 2010 when owner & head chef James perfected his unique technique for crafting individual handmade pies. Our steak & ale and chicken & leek pies have been making an appearance on the pub menu ever since & have always been a very popular choice.
Encouraged by customer appreciation and by co-owner and partner Penelope, James has now developed a dedicated pie menu.
We believe the best pies start with the best ingredients and always use British, locally sourced, seasonal & sustainable produce wherever possible.
Our pies are also available to cook & eat at home.
We are always up for creating something bespoke, so if you have a specific pie in mind, let us know!

Pies change with the seasons. Many are also available frozen from the bar to bake at home — ring ahead on 01403 710902 and we’ll have them ready.
